Curriculum VitaeZoltan Nagy, MSc., PhD.Mr. Nagy received his MSc. degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of Brno University of Technology, in 1998. Mr. Nagy continued his studies in the postgraduate program of the Brno University of Technology at the Department of Telecommunications. Simultaneously he was employed as a researcher there from 1999. After PhD. graduation in 2004 he received a position as an assistant professor at the Department of Telecommunications of the same university. During his employment at the University he was participating in numerous R&D projects, often in cooperation with industrial enterprises. His major interests were: digital signal processing (incl. audio- and image processing), data transmission over communication networks and application software development. Results of his R&D activity were published in research and technical reports and also presented at international conferences abroad. From 2006 he worked for Badger Meter Czech Republic Ltd. as a research engineer specializing on software development for electromagnetic flow meters. He was engaged in firmware development for emerging products and in upgrading software equipment for existing ones. Since 2008 Mr. Nagy has been managing scientific-software development in the company Sci-Soft Ltd. and simultaneously has been acting as an assistant professor at the Department of Informatics of Hans Selye University in Komarno, Slovak Republic. |
